Due to a shortened schedule in class on Tuesday and quite a few absences, we are a little behind schedule. We have discussed that settlers came from Spain for gold, silver, and to convert Native Americans to the Catholic faith, from France to obtain furs, and began talking about the New England settlers (Puritans, Harvard, Roger Williams and Anne Hutchinson that were expelled and founded the Rhode Island Colony, King Phillips War, etc.). We will continue tomorrow.
I still believe we will be ready for our social studies test on Wednesday of next week.
