This is Red Ribbon Week. In counseling this week, Mrs. Jones will be discussing the harmful effects of drug use. There will be a dress-up day on Thursday. Wear your best hippie-wear. You may wear your tie-dye T.R. t-shirt if you like.
Peacemakers will be set up a Halloween Booth outside the gym every morning this week from 7:30-8:00. Profits will be used to buy food for needy families this Thanksgiving.
Students have a math test on multiplying decimals on Tuesday. There is no spelling test or reading test this week. You will have a project in social studies this week on explorers that you will do in class.
There is NO SCHOOL on Friday. The teachers will have meetings all day.
Mrs. Bryan's homeroom students are guests on WTRS for the next few weeks. Each day, two students will be assisting the television crew.
Tuesday, November 9, is the 5th Grade Veteran's Day program. The program starts at 6:00. 5th grade students need to report to school at 5:45 wearing red, white, and blue. PLEASE let your homeroom teacher know if you will not be attending. Thanks!
