As I read through the packets sent to me from my homeroom students, many of you are mentioning social studies as your favorite (or least favorite) subject. I thought I might give you a list of some of the topics we will be covering this year.
Native Americans, Vikings, European Explorers, Lost Colony of Roanoke, Jamestown, colonial life, American Revolution, our new country, George Washington, 3 Branches of Government, Westward Expansion, and the Civil War to name a few.
