In social studies today, we continued to discuss the first leaders of our country. We learned of two men that surveyed the land that was to become Washington, D.C. and how the city was planned. We read a wonderful A.R. book, Dear Benjamin Banneker, about one of the surveyors.
We checked out Washington, D.C. on Google Earth. How amazing the Washington Monument looks from above!!!
Math- Study for your math test on mean, median, mode, and ratio. It had been scheduled for Wednesday. It is going to be tomorrow.
Language- Study for Friday's prepositions quiz.
Spelling- Study for Friday's spelling test.
Reading- Keep reading in your A.R. book.
