Today/Tonight/Reminders

Mrs. Bryan was unable to be at school today due to being home with her son. The students learned about the process that took place to ratify the Constitution. Students read about the process, worked a maze of ratification, and studied for tomorrow's test on the 3 Branches of Government and our country's system of checks and balances.

Homework:

Study for your social studies test tomorrow. Use the study guide we completed in class last Friday. There will be 15 statements in which you will decide which branch is being described. This section is worth 75 points. Make sure you can explain what our system of checks and balances means. That is worth 25 points on the test.

Make sure that you have your social studies/science notebook in class tomorrow (in case you took it home to show your parents).

Math- There is probably no homework because you took a test today. Do what Mr. E. said.

Language- Complete classwork (if you did not).

Study the Preamble for Thursday.

Study for spelling, literature terms, and Daily Fix-It notes for Friday.

****There will be school next Monday. We used a weather day in January and need to make it up. ****** You should have received a School Cast message about this.

Bring decorated valentine boxes on Thursday and cards on Friday. If your parent wants to provide a snack for Friday, let me know a.s.a.p. We already have plates, napkins, and cupcakes promised.
