Science
We have been learning about matter this week. We learned about atoms and molecules. We have discussed the six states of matter (solid, liquid, gas, plasma, colloid, and Bose-Einstein condensate). We have learned something about each state. Today, we discussed the difference between potential and kinetic energy. We pretended we were riding on a roller coaster, and made a roller coaster with a wire and bead. We will continue with potential and kinetic energy on Monday. Students will answer 12 questions about potential and kinetic energy on Tuesday. We will spend Monday's class working a study guide and doing an art project to prepare us for Tuesday's questions.
