Helpful Free iPhone/iPad App
For those of you that have access to an iPad or iPhone, I found a great math app for students that are struggling with their multiplication facts. On the iPad, it's called My Math App. On the iPhone, it's called My Math Flashcards. It is a game in which blue math flash cards pop up, and your child will answer the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division math problem. At this point, I suggest that you work with multiplication. If your child is doing ok on the mixed multiplication quizzes for Mr. E., leave the problems as is. If your child is not doing well, I would start the game, and when a hammer/screwdriver icon pops up on the first flash card, I would click on it. That icon allows to you adjust the number of questions and allows you to only be tested on one digit at a time. For example, if your child does not know his/her six facts, you can manipulate it to only ask multiplication problems with sixes. Please text me or Email me if you have any questions.
